Yoga & You: How to Personalise your Practice
This workshop will empower you with the tools to understand how to specifically shape your yoga practice to ease stress, manage anxiety and calm your mind.
What you’ll learn
You’ll learn how to personalise your practice and tailor yoga’s tools of āsana (postures), prāṇāyāma (breath techniques) and dhyāna (meditation) to your needs. How? Together we'll uncover how particular postures, breathing and meditation techniques can influence the way you feel by exploring one of the 5 Prana Vayus helping you to understand the energetics behind yogic practice.
In this particular workshop, we’ll be practicing through the lens of Apana Vayu - guiding us towards more calm, clarity, grounding and stability - the antidote to our busy lives!
Why is this important? When you tailor your practice to your individual needs, you become your own teacher and can lead yourself towards greater balance, a regulated nervous system and better management of your energy, not just on the mat and in the moment, but in everyday life!
Open to all levels of experience, we'll journey through a little philosophy and a 90min yoga practice, with space for a Q&A at the end.
