This course is for absolute beginners who want to take their first steps on the mat but have felt unsure about where to start and perhaps intimidated by joining a public class as a beginner, yes, I know the feeling!
In 4 consecutive weekly sessions you’ll learn the foundations of a complete yoga practice in a down-to-earth and accessible way within a friendly, supportive environment. Join us and walk away with the confidence and knowledge to begin your yoga practice and join a class!
We’ll explore the following;
Introduction to yoga history and philosophy
Standing and seated Āsana (postures)
Sūrya Namaskāra (sun salutations)
Foundational Prāṇāyāma (breathing excersises)
Introductory Dhāraṇā (meditation practice)
